I began serving with Gospel Ambition in 2023 after praying for the nations at church on a Sunday morning using one of their amazing tools – Prayer.Global. I left the church service that day and went home to go on about my life, but my heart continued to ache for the unreached and all I could do was pray. Over the course of the next several days, weeks and months the Lord kept prompting me with this call to missions. I tried many times to shake it off, but He continued to press on. He changed my heart, He completely changed my life, He blew open doors for me to GO, and He gave me this exceptional desire to obey the Great Commandment and pursue the fulfillment of the Great Commission in this generation TOGETHER with YOU!
In May of 2024 our team took an incredible group of missionary-minded teens and their families on a mission trip to North Africa. While there, we formed a special connection with an unengaged, unreached people group (UUPG). We learned about the rich Christian heritage in North Africa and how Islam has sadly overtaken it. We also met other missionaries, heard their stories, and prayed with deep insight as we drove over 1,000 miles across the country, asking God to bring the lost to Jesus.
My heart broke. There were so many lost souls, some of whom had never had contact with a Christian. Many had never heard that they are loved by God. Many have no access to the gospel. Yet, many are seeking to hear the good news. I didn’t want to leave, knowing there was so much more work to be done.
This year, they’ve invited us to return to North Africa to teach English and continue building relationships with their people. We hope to raise the necessary funds to go back in May, reconnect with this unreached people group, and show them the love of Jesus. Please pray over our visit, that our connections will be fruitful and that our interactions will help them know Jesus and share the good news with others.
My personal fundraising goal for this trip is $3,000.
